A Personal Invitation from
Chairwoman Trisha Turner
The Ontario County Republican Committee is launching our 2025 Chairman’s Club and welcome you to join this year! We need YOUR help this year to get our team over the line. The past election was exciting for our party. We won back the White House, the Senate, and retained the House! There is a genuine wave of enthusiasm and heartfelt hope for our nation. We are excited to build upon the red wave in New York and locally in Ontario County!
I am truly honored to serve as the Chairwoman of the Ontario County Republican Committee, as the Upstate Vice Chair for the NYS Republican Party and the State President of the NYS Federation of Republican Women. The Ontario County Republican Committee is a strong and thriving committee dedicated to the personal freedoms and principles we cherish. We continue to grow and make a meaningful impact in the community.
Locally, we have a Republican majority and need your help to maintain and build this momentum. Republicans hold the majority of the seats for the Board of Supervisors led by the Chairman of the Board, Supervisor Jared Simpson. We continue to have excellent federal and state senate and assembly representation with seats held by Republicans Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, Senator Pam Helming, Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan, and Assemblywoman Andrea Bailey. This year, we are engaged in campaigns to elect and re-elect supervisors to the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.
New York State is at a crossroads, and we need to wage strong campaigns to ensure the best representation in our local towns, Albany, and Washington D.C. Next year we have the opportunity to take the Governor’s seat. Kathy Hochul is vulnerable, and we need to work together to do our part to help in the statewide battle. We will continue to fight for our local candidates in Ontario County and do our part to support strong and qualified republican candidates.
I am happy to speak with you directly if you have any questions about how to get involved or how to support our committee. We continue our efforts to bring a leadership team that fights for your values, your community, and your nation. Please consider supporting the Ontario County Republican Committee as a Chairman’s Club Member or joining the OCRC so we can successfully maintain strong leadership and do our part to restore the greatness of New York. Together, we will make a significant difference in our community!
With Gratitude,
Trisha Turner

Ontario Republicans endorse Karle and Barnes for judge positions
March 21, 2025, 12:05 PM / Updated: March 21, 2025, 12:32 PM
The Ontario County Republican Committee has officially endorsed two local legal professionals for upcoming judicial races in the November 4 election. Judge Kristina “Kitty” Karle received the committee’s backing for New York State Supreme Court Justice, while Stefanie Barnes was endorsed for Ontario County Judge.
Karle, currently serving her seventh year on the Ontario County Court Bench, is seeking election to the Supreme Court in the state’s 7th Judicial District, which includes eight counties. She presides over family, criminal, and Supreme Court cases, including Youth Part for youthful offender matters. Since taking the bench, she has overseen nearly 7,000 cases.
Barnes, a solo practitioner and part-time assistant district attorney in Wayne County, brings 25 years of legal experience to her candidacy. She has spent seven years as a prosecutor, including the last five in the Major Felonies Bureau. In addition to her prosecutorial work, Barnes has served as a defense attorney and holds certifications as a Court Evaluator, Guardian Ad Litem, and Attorney for the Child.
Committee Chairwoman Trisha Turner praised both candidates for their dedication and qualifications, noting that each has “distinguished themselves by their work.”
